ORIGINS: She was born in Tokyo, Japan as the reincarnation of a priestess from the Feudal Era named Kikyo. The Sacred Jewel (Shikon no Tama) was born within her body and up until she was fifteen, lived a fairly normal life on the grounds of her family temple. When searching for her cat, Kagome was pulled into the old Bone-Eater's Well by a centipede demon and was transported to Feudal Japan where she met Inuyasha.
